Hi Everyone
It has been so busy the last few weeks, so it‘s hard to know where to start. There have been birthday parties to go to, James and Louise turning 5, and our recent trip to Sydney for the Twins Plus Festival. James and Louise were so exhausted after 5 days of sightseeing in Sydney that they slept pretty much all the way home on the plane. See the newsletter for more about our trip and Multiple Birth Awareness week celebrations. The most frequent question asked at the moment in our house is ―when is it Easter? or ―is it school holidays yet?
It was great to see the children with the Easter Bunny at our recent picnic. Please accept my apologies for the farm animals that were booked for this event, but unfortunately then couldn‘t make it along on the day. Due to the lateness of being informed of this by them, and lots of time spent on phone calls, I was unable to find a replacement. However, as well as the Easter Bunny the children had a good time on the playground and helping their parents choose their winning raffle prizes. Thank you to Scholastic for the books donated. Look out for the photos to come in next month‘s newsletter.
I am pleased to tell you that we now have, Lucy, as a second part-time Rooms Co-ordinator to join Lydia in this position. The April EPM has been held for this month with the next one coming in June. We still have Cadbury fundraising chocolates and Community Chest raffle tickets available to sell. Please contact Maria if you are able to help us out with this.
We have the State Seminar coming up in May which is being held in Mandurah. We would love to see more people come along. The registration form for this is in the newsletter. Make the most of a good opportunity to leave the kids being cared for, and enjoy a day out, hear the guest speakers and meet up with State committee members.
I hope everyone has a safe, happy, and fun Easter weekend and school holidays too.
Until next month
Sue Gishubl
