Have just moved into a new house and have a sandpit for a backyard and would love to be able to take the boys to a park, but on my own this is out of the question. Have been to Burswood with my daughter but that's always busy and a little too big for the boys, same with Faulkner Park (?) in Belmont. The toddler section at Kings Park near Stickybeaks was good, but not really enclosed. The boys are 18 months.

Hi there, I have 3 1/2 year old G/B twins. About 5 months ago we potty trained and my son has been totally dry ever since (night and day). Unfortunately, after a bout of constipation about 2 months ago my daughter developed a total blind spot when it comes to using the toilet. She doesn't seem to have a problem with the actual toilet process it just seems that she can't be bothered to go, even if it means that she had soiled underwear / pull-ups. We have tried every tack we can think of, ignoring, reassurance, scolding, naughty spot, praise, guilt, rewards, reward chart etc.... to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would also love to get some first hand experiences from people who have attanded Ngala or similar with their multiples. You can reply here or email me directly at dom_krista@hotmail.com.

It is a purpose built playgroup with excellant indoor and outdoor play areas. Children sized toilets, shaded play areas and sand pit, outdoor music area, cubbyhouse, tee-pee, good quality indoor toys, highchairs, bassinets, change table and a very well stocked art/craft room. For the parents tea and coffee is available, full kitchen facilities (gated), bush setting, fully fenced and even - river glimpses!

The centre is located opposite the tennis courts and next to Point Walter Golf course on Carroll Dve Bicton if you want to go for a drive and have a look, otherwise contact attadaleplaygroup@hotmail.com and see what times the vacant sessions are and if you can register a multiple birth specific session if the times are right. There are also individual memberships available if you are just looking for a general session.

Cost is $127 per family (this includes insurance) for an annual membership and half yearly is also available. Ages 0-5 years.

Be quick - this playgroup normally has a waiting list a mile long! My children are 4 1/2 years old and we have been 'playgrouping' with our Mothers Group from 6 months. It has been a godsend for me, especially during winter months. Had a multi-birth session been available for us in the early days I would have jumped at the chance.

Good luck!

Toilet training twins! Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good nanny for my 7 week old twin girls. My husband and I just moved to Perth for his job and we don't have any family or friends here yet so I'm looking for someone to give me a break once or twice a week and the occasional weekend night, as I'm already finding it hard and I've only been here 3 days.

We are living in Claremont. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Hannah.

get your ex back.

Here we have some suggestion about how to get your ex back. These tips helps those who need to get your ex back.

mountain buggy twin bassinets

I have Mountain buggy twin bassinets for sale .. nearly new condition .

They are in red .. makes no difference if you are buying a different colour pram and these are

used seperate to the main pram ..

interested email me at sara-anthony@bigpond.com

twin models wanted!

hello everyone

i am a children's wear designer from fremantle and i am looking for a set of twins (boy and girl) 2,3 or 4 years old to model my next seasons range!
Here is a photo of the pram I am selling: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fiona1j2k3l/3256099493/in/set-72157606234245252/

The toddler seat is mounted on the handlebars and can be easily removed, turning the pram into a Twin pram. The toddler seat does not recline so is only suitable for children who can sit. The pram is very stable with a child in the toddler seat as the weight is positioned over the back wheels. I have often used the pram with the lower two seats vacant and a child in the toddler seat. The toddler seat provides an ideal viewing position for trips to the zoo!

When my children were younger I used to be able to turn the pram with one hand. Now that I have two school-aged children that isn't possible anymore!

This is a fantasitc pram. It is really well made, has heaps of storage including very handy pockets. It really gave me some freedom and sanity when I had three young kids. It has a large amount of storage space, so you can go shopping, keep all kids 'contained' and have somewhere to put nappy bags and your shopping.

The pram will fit through a standard doorway and can fit wherever a wheelchair will fit. The pram folds flat and will fit in the back of my Camry sedan if I remove one of the front wheels.

If you need a Quad pram, you can purchase a new twin top-mounted seat from www.abcbuggy.co.nz. If you were to do that then the pram could take 4 newborns or 4 children of varying ages.

If you need a Triplets pram (ie 3 newborns) you could purchase a newer toddler seat from www.abcbuggy.co.nz. The toddler seat which they now sell will recline and is suitable for a newborn.

Mobile 0417 990 143. Please phone if you would like to view/road test the pram.

You know you are a slack mum when..... Some of the responses made me laugh and laugh.... Mostly because I could relate to them!

I thought it might be fun, add yours.

Fill in the blank- You know you are a slack mum when_________

1. There is a furry layer of growth on the carpet in your car..... (that's when you can actually see the carpet) and your sister calls the car "the crumb mobile" but biscuits keep them quitet while I drive!

A friend has organised a private course focussing primarily on 2-4 year olds at the Attadale playgroup. If anyone is interested in going please contact me on oliviagleeson@rts.com.au or 0413309179.

Hi All

Thanks for confirming you would like to attend the upcoming Behaviour Tonics course. A flyer will be sent out soon but this email is a reminder of the dates and a more accurate estimate of costs.

Dates: Monday 16th, 23rd November, 7th December
Time: 7pm – 9.30pm
Venue: Point Walter Playgroup, Bicton
Cost: with 20 confirmed participants = $95 per person, HOWEVER, there is still room for more people – if we can get another 10 participants, this will reduce the costs significantly.

The cost includes ongoing phone and email support from Behaviour Tonics. Remember, too, that this course will be tailored to suit ages 2-4 years, not 2-12 years that is catered for in the public course. This price still works out to be cheaper than the public course. If each person/couple can find another participant to join us, the cost will be reduced to something like $60 per person. So feel free to pass this onto any interested friends and get them to contact me.

Booking of places in the course will be confirmed upon receipt of payment. If we can reduce costs, I will reimburse any difference. Cheques can be made payable to ‘Behaviour Tonics’ or you can deposit money into my bank account via electronic transfer. Please email me and I will forward on my details. I would like to start organising payments/confirmation of bookings asap – it would be much appreciated if you can arrange payment by the 2nd of November.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the 16th.

Shani

HELP! Nanny for twins needed in secret harbour - who best can I contact to employ a nanny?

I have one month old twins and ive just found out that my employee is leaving me in december - my business is extremely busy and to top it off my husband also needs to be deployed for work - i am ok for the moment, but by 1 Jan I have to return to work and im worried i wont be able to do it ALL...both my parents and parents in law are over east so unfortunately i dont even have their help.

I am looking for another employee but with the financial situation straining, I will be better off working and paying for a nanny. I dont want someone else bringing up my girls so im trying to strike a happy medium and work two days a week, so i can have them for the rest of the week, but ill need a nanny for those two days. Im nervous about it, but i cant seem to find an alternative solution.

So, im looking for a nanny 2-3 days a week, to care for our two girls for 8hrs of the day, maybe overnight if 2 days and just need help with the washing/cleaning...is it possible to get a nanny to do this? where do i start to search for one and what are the costs usually? some people told me about $100/day per child - is this right?

if anyone can point me in the right direction, id really appreciate it. thank you.

Babies too big for feeding pillow - any tips?

Hi,

My twin girls (3 1/2 months) are are quickly running out of space on my twin feeding pillow, their bottoms are both precariously near the edge and their legs dangling over the sides.

Is there a cunning position I've not realised I can put them on on it
or have people just put cushions at the end of the pillow to take the
babies legs and bums once they no longer completely fit on it?

The WA breastfeeding clinic showed me a great position that doesn't need a pillow (one cradle, one rugby with her head resting on her sisters abdomen) but we're still getting used to it and its a tricky one for burping / if there's a lot of milk as you don't have free hands so I'd like to have the pillow as backup.

Thanks!

Lindsey

bali holiday

hi is there any one out there whos been to bali with twins (mine will be 3 by then) is it best to take 2 single strollers and any iders of good things to do over there that is child freindly

I'm going through almost 2 cans a week (could only do the *** feeding for aboput 6-7 weeks).

Also does anyone know of any shops that do home delivery of groceries. Coles and Woolies over east offer the service for about $15, But keep telling me there is no demand in WA for it. After telling people in email address book this, i think Coles would or received about 50 enquieries this week for home delivery of groceries in WA....so if your interested send an email to online.customercare@coles.com.au . The more emails they get the more attention they'll have to give the matter. I am so luck up to date i have had family members do my shopping list for me, or watch the kids, burt with alot of them away or going away...I find mysely worrying about the so called simple task of grocery shopping. We live in Chittering (40min to Midalnd or Joondalup) so when I shop I do a large weeks worth. Does anyone know of any shops that offer home deliver?????? If not.......HELP- how do I get my twins from the car to the actual shop (where then I can put them into the twin trolly?????- along with the 2yr old. If I take the pram from the car into the shop - there's nowhere safe to leave it!!! How do you wonderful, brilliant, inicitive, patient mums of multiples manage??? I take my hat off. Eagerly awaiting ifo Kerrie
