    Hi Brodie,

I haven't been to Bali with my twins (yet!) but I have been a couple of times with my older daughter, who was aged 2 and 3. We used a single umbrella-fold stroller with her on both trips and were able to get around pretty okay. I would think it would be a bit of a challenge trying to maneouver a double stroller so your plan for two singles sounds sensible to me. We stayed at hotels on the beach so we were able to walk along the beach as much as possible to get where we needed to go (no traffic so your kids should be able to safely run ahead a bit if they are getting sick of the stroller).

    The activities we enjoyed were:

    • Waterbom Park (think waterslides, awesome water playground and loads of splashy fun!),
    • a visit to the Monkey Forest in Ubud (hold onto your sunglasses and jewelry),
    • elephant riding at the Safari Park,
    • a glass-bottomed boat cruise to Turtle Island (has amazing animals and a baby turtle hatchery),
    • Bali Birdpark- I'm not a big bird fan but this was actually a lot of fun
    • We also spent some time just lazing by the pool sipping cocktails at the poolbar while she swam around- bliss!

We also visited the Bali Zoo but didn't really enjoy it as the animals are all in concrete cages (think Perth Zoo in the 1960sSad).

Have a great timeBig Smile. I am very jealous!

    Hi Brodie

We are also looking at going to Bali next year with our twin boys will nearly be three. I have had friends take their twins to Bali and had a fantastic time. They stayed at Bali Dynasty in a family room (has great kids club and facilities), they took single strollers (cheap ones for around the pool and airport) and backpack carriers (due to the state of the roads and so locals found it harder to touch their children as they are up higher). Also they found most of what they needed as far as supplies go (nappies, wipes, etc) and it was brands that we would recognise. They also took the tap protectors over so that the children could not turn on the taps in the hotel room and drink the water or clean their teeth.

Hope you have a great time - let us know how you go.

    Regards  MEL

Someone from my daughters school is going here...

It is extremely child friendly, they will even install a pool fence for the duration of your stay! And they have all the baby 'stuff' including baby monitors! Not to mention it sounds like such an indulgent holiday for the adults as well!! Is pricey, but great if you could share it with one or two other families or friends. I currently have my hopes pinned on a lotto win!!
